TIK ATAK

At 4 years of age, almost 4,5 is Alexander telling me to add, he recently discovered the joy in the game Tik Atak. (otherwise known Tic Tac Toe or as Noughts and Crosses). We have already played it many, many times and it is a fabulous addition to our games cupboard. Good job Father Christmas! And as it takes up alomost no space, I look forward to packing it next time when we are travelling or head out to dinner as a family.

tik atak

This particualar Tik Atak game is a really cool new take on the Tic-tac-toe game. A modern version where two families of bugs must battle to catch the fleas. Comes packed in an organic cotton drawstring bag which also doubles up as the game board. The game starts with a creative time where the children stick themselves the wooden pieces in order to personalize each pawn and appropriate the game.

At Les Jouets Libres they believe deeply in the imagination and creativity of children. The games are built around four principles – modernity; mobility (children can take the game to play wherever they want); an emotional bond between the child and the game; and freedom – children are allowed to be involved in the rule-making.
