Whilst looking for some fun activities for my son I stumbled up www.macocobox.com. A monthly subscription box filled with fun and creative workshops for boys and girls age 3-7 years old.
We received our first Macocobox box the other day and this month’s theme is light, and from the minute it arrived Alexander could hardly wait to dive in. This month’s box leads the children on a path of discovery where they experiment with shadows and light, art, imagination and photography.
Every activity is explained in French (but is easy to understand for non-French speakers).
Alexander started with decorating a picture frame with magic markers.
And with the white marker he drew ‘little people’ on the coloured bits.
Et voila! A beautifully designed picture frame.
For the second activity it was time to turn off the lights! A shadow play!
In the box we found 11 different shapes that are easy to attach to the wooden bits and it even came with a flashlight! This was so much fun and he came up with some great stories!
And this afternoon, when Alexander comes home from school it’s time for the third activity… Follow us on Instagram to see the result.
