Whilst sat at the table waiting for our visitors to arrive I want to tell you more about La Fete’ s handmade decorations. Poms, garlands, dress up, caketoppers… You name it!
I discovered La Fête exactly one year ago when Eddy & Femke from Hééérlijk, two great caterers, came over from Holland to France to take care of our wedding. They made this amazing looking cake with fantastic caketoppers from La Fête.
Nora, the founder of La fete, decided to quit her job in 2011 to start as a freelance art-director, when she found out she was diagnosed with breast-cancer. After an intense treatment, the future looks very positive. The moment she started to regain energy, she needed to do something productive and started La Fête.
