Before I was pregnant, I remember hearing mums talk about how intense other mums are about strollers. How apparently, at the park, mums check out other mum’s strollers from a distance. At the time I didn’t understand what they meant and how this could even be a thing but, after I got pregnant and started doing research I understood. Strollers to mums are like what a nice car would be to a man.
Well mummies (and daddies) let me introduce you to the newest stroller available, the Bugaboo Runner.
Whether you run to feel free, run to get healthy or run because you love to go fast, the Bugaboo Runner is the latest innovation to keep you on the move together with your child. The Bugaboo Runner is designed as a complete jogging stroller including seat and adapters that will definitely keep you active and gets you out of the house at a time in your life when you may be overwhelmed by responsibility.
But that’s not all. Those of you who already have Bugaboo’s and are crying that you missed out on this innovation – fear not. The seat from the Bugaboo Donkey, Bugaboo Cameleon3, Bugaboo Bee and Bugaboo Buffalo can all be fitted to the separate chassis to form a pushchair which is suitable to jog with once your baby reaches 9 months of age.
What we love about the Bugaboo Runner is that the seat units can be used in any positions, parent or forward-facing, which is unusual as most running buggies are only forward-facing.
Of course the Bugaboo Runner was designed with active parents who love to explore yet untrodden paths, which is why it has air-filled tyres and a suspension system to absorb any bumps along the way. A speed-control brake along the entire handlebar allows you to adjust your speed with either hand, and they’ve made the fixed, three-wheeled base as lights as possible for easy steering. And when your run is over, the Runner folds flat for easy storage.
