Summer holidays will be here in a couple of weeks for most children. I know some mothers go absolutely crazy with having their children home all day. Others sign them up for camp as soon as humanly possible and spend the bulk of the summer relaxing with their husbands and friends while their child is off on their own outdoor adventures in sleep away camp. (Can you imagine a whole month or two without your children?)
I’m a little different than these mothers though because I actually like having Alexander off for the summer. Summer to me means no schedule, no making lunches, doing homework, or getting up at 7am… none of it. Now that I work exclusively from my home office, my schedule can be as flexible as I want it to be.
I gotta admit, summer is fun and I can’t wait!
Where do you stand on summer holidays? Are you looking forward to the lazy, hazy days?
