PLAYTIME PARIS SNEAK PEEK SUMMER 2014

Playtime Paris, an international fair for childrens clothing, toys and interior design has come to an end.  As first time visitors we weren’t sure what to expect, but loved it!! And while it was unbearably hot at the conference centre, there was sooo much to see that we’re not complaining!

Before visiting we made a list of brands / designers we wanted to see but that was soon thrown out of the window and we stopped at nearly every stand. And there were quite a few! Some new designers launching their very first collection such as Bonheur du Jour, Motoreta & House of Jamie. But the other already well known brands like Shampoodle, Bobo Choses, Mini Rodini also presented a great and exciting new collection. We could definitely get a taste of the Summer of 2014, and we can’t wait!!

Since Playtime Paris is only for shops, designers, bloggers and other media, we will give you a sneak peek from what we’ve seen.

What did we see?

Colors, lots of bright colors and again lots of yellow… Nununu, Mary Mazaly.

Graphic prints… La Loi.. We love your skull leggings.

Stripes…  An old time favorite… We like how Aarekid gives the stripe design a modern twist.

Animal prints… The whole zoo will be represented! Mini Rodini will definitely have them all! But others like Gardner and the Gang and Shampoodle as well.

Liberty prints… Our favorites are Their Nibs and Je suis en CP.

Smart Casual… Paade is definitely one of our favorites with their “Sunday morning collection! (And yes, please DO add women’s wear to your collection… We definitely want one of those cardigans from the AW13 collection!)
