The 81st edition of Pitti Bimbo (Florence, 25-27 June 2015) ended last Saturday. Now in its 81st year, the trade show is one of the most important events on the international youth fashion and children’s clothing fashion scene.
With an superb selection of brands and visitors (buyers, press, stylists and other fashion professionals) that gathered together to Fortezza da Basso to see the fashion shows, visit the brands, see the new SS16 collections and other events, it was a not-to-be-missed trade fair.
Overall theme of this year’s edition of Pitti Bimbo was “That’s Pitti Colour” and revolved around colour and colours, the colours in which we are constantly immersed, the colours that are all around us, that we wear, that are inside us and in front of our eyes. The language of colour is also one of the fundamental codes of childrens wear so, in studying the theme of colour, it is natural to narrate and interpret the styles and ways of living and playing as children.
As usual, Pitti Bimbo featured a lot of fashion shows. Here you already see a sneak peek of Il Gufo, Fashion from Spain, Manila Grace, Yclu.
