All made in France in small quantities. Minabulle offers a beautiful yet playful collection for children age 0 to 8 years old. The SS14 collection is called ‘in Bloom’ (see full catalogue here) and is inspired by a walk in the countryside, sunny days and the movie “The Tree” of Julie Bertuccelli.
You’ll find sweet little zip-up hoodies with ears, liberty print jumpsuits, butterfly prints, and many other pieces with a special touch. A very nice collection for boys and girls!
Time for an interview with the brains behind this brand, let me introduce you to Emilie Moreau!
How would you describe your brand?
Minabulle offers a poetic universe for kids clothing from 0 to 8 years old. Minabulle is joyful and tinted with nostalgia.
What is the inspiration behind your SS14 collection?
The inspiration behind the SS14 collection is a walk in the country, sunny days in the fields and the movie “The Tree” of Julie Bertuccelli.
What is your favorite piece from the collection?
That’s a hard question to answer! But maybe the skirt Marguerite, or the “combishort” Cerise…
Do you have children? How does that influence your work?
I have two children: a girl Mina who is 7 years old, and a boy Noam who is 3. Of course, they are a big part of my inspiration with what I would like to see them wear, what they show me in the dailylife. They give me a real breath in my work, happiness. And they often remind me to my own memories, my own childhood, which inspire me a lot too…
What are the most rewarding and most challenging aspects of your job?
I think the fact to be alone to do everything is a real challenge: sometimes I have the impression to have lot of job in one!
How would you describe your own personal style?
I love mixing styles: I think a mix between casual and retro style. And simple outfits as slim pants with oversize pullover for example…
If one of our readers is only in Crevant (France) for 24 hours what one thing would you recommend they do?
I would recommend you to have a long walk in the fields which are quite wild and the forests which are magic! Then you should go to a little town next to Crevant named La Chatre, which is really lovely and dynamic, with lots of artists who live there, and eat to a nice restaurant named l’Escargot. In the evening, if there is no alternative concert in the villages around, you can go to the nice theater of Chateauroux which proposes really nice programming in dance, circus…
Where can our readers buy your brand?
First of all on my e-shop www.minabulle.com and in several shops in France, Italy, South Korea, Japan (retailers list on my blog or on my e-shop) etc.
